We were able to get a review copy of Vaesen Nordic Horror Roleplaying Core Rulebook to check out. I was able to do an unboxing video below to showcase what came with the rule book. Once down, I sat down with my friends and we knew we needed this book big time for Vaesen. We are able to look to different characters and create them with their trauma and dark secrets. I was excited for that because each character wasn’t perfected but had a secrets that will attribute to each game. Each character has a talent that is very beneficial when playing the game. I’m not going to spoil much about that part but it is very exciting. This got my creativity going and with the additional lore of Vaesen, I was very excited. We played for hours at my home and a few times had to look over our shoulders due to the horror of the game. I enjoyed learning about the legends of the Nordic and the myths that came with it.
