After a year of successful implementations and close collaboration with partners and customers, Truesense has significantly evolved its technology portfolio, strengthening its position in TinyML-enabled sensing, meshed sensors platforms and scalable UWB system architectures.
At CES 2026, Truesense will showcase live demonstrations of its UWB Radar & positioning platforms, highlighting the portability of the Truesense software stack across multiple NXP processor and microcontroller families, from Linux-based systems to real-time MCUs.
Live UWB Radar demos (TSRR 250-based)
Truesense will present two live UWB Radar demos developed on NXP platforms, both focused on presence and absence detection and on the use of radar sensing to optimize system behavior and power consumption:
·A Smart Thermostat / Home Controller demo running on NXP i.MX93 (Linux-based), showing how UWB Radar presence information can be integrated into application-level logic for smart home and building control.
·A Video Doorbell demo running on NXP RT700 (FreeRTOS), implemented using the Truesense Etna TS 250 DevKit, demonstrating real-time radar-based presence detection on a resource-constrained MCU.
These demos emphasize the porting of the Truesense UWB Radar software across different NXP cores and operating systems, using a common platform architecture adaptable to different performance and power profiles.
Anchorless UWB system
In addition, Truesense will demonstrate an anchorless UWB positioning system, based on a Thread mesh network, where devices cooperate to perform positioning and altitude-aware measurements without fixed anchors.
The system runs on NXP RW612 and MCXW72 platforms and showcases a flexible and easily deployable UWB architecture for distributed sensing and localization.
