KATIE GAVIN PERFORMS SONGS FROM HER DEBUT ALBUM WHAT A RELIEF ON NPR’S TINY DESK

Today, Katie Gavin makes her solo debut on NPR’s lauded Tiny Desk concert series. Joined by Nana Adjoa on shruti box and bass, Eric Radloff on acoustic guitar and percussion, and Sarab Singh on drums, the four-song performance is a captivating display of Gavin’s songwriting and performance prowess.

Composed entirely of songs from her 2024 solo record What A Relief, Gavin kicks off the performance with “The Baton,” a stunning track about intergenerational healing. It’s followed by “Sanitized” with Gavin on piano and lead album single “Aftertaste.” The four-song set concluded with the introspective “Sketches,” performed entirely by Katie solo.
