Los Angeles, CA (May 9, 2025) – Today, rising Oklahoma red dirt rock band Gannon Fremin & CCREV unleash a brand new single entitled “Hello, Hate To See You.” Listen HERE.
Setting the scene, the track’s airy clean guitar echoes beneath gritty verses, and vocalist Gannon sighs, “Well, I remember everything that you said, but you can kill a buzz how you love to forget.” A wave of distortion carries the chorus as he snarls, “Don’t know how you’re around, but it’s always when I’m drinking.” At the end, he raises a middle finger to an ex as politely as possible with the greeting, “Hello, hate to see you again.”
Regarding “Hello, Hate To See You,” the group commented, “That song is about a girl who you don’t want to see anymore, but she just keeps appearing everywhere you are! That moment you feel like it’s over and you don’t have to worry about her, here she comes again…”
Right now, the band is captivating crowds on the road throughout North America. Next up, they will headline Majestic Fort Smith in Fort Smith, AR followed by dates across Oklahoma and Texas. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below. Get tickets HERE.
Emerging from the heart of Oklahoma, Gannon Fremin & CCREV have gone from the new kids on the red dirt block into a powerhouse rockin’ band that encompasses the grit and independent rowdy spirit of Southwest Okies. Consisting of frontman Gannon Fremin, guitarist Travis Julian, bassist Wade Cartwright and drummer Tyler McCartney, this 4-piece carries the rustic range of the Red Dirt Rangers blended with the punk power of The Stooges. Their sound, a haunting echo of Red Dirt wisdom and the rebellious spirit of punk, conjures the raw honesty of Cody Canada and the lyrical intensity of Kurt Cobain.
