A few years ago, while at a music event for SXSW to showcase future musicians, we were able to meet a young lady named Jzade Forte. I was able to talk to her briefly with an interview and talk music with her. I knew she has a bright future with her music and brand even when we first met. She had that aura that you can feel from someone that is going to be huge. Today, we were able to hear that Jzade Forte, while having a tour planned, released her latest mixtape. The mixtape is titled Crooked Conversations and you know I had to sit down and check out each track.
This mixtape that Jzade Forte released is spelling the tea inside of her tracks. She talks money, she talks loyalty, but most of all, she talks about the world around her. She reveals through her words that feature such things as lost love, being alone, pushing to be successful and much more. Jzade goes hard with her words over beats that flow so well. She raps, she sings, and she gives it her all in each track in this mixtape.
The tracks I’m digging hard are GRWM, 100, OMW, LOL, and Pop It. I listened to the whole album a few times and I have to say it was hard to pick which song I’m listening more to. Jzade new mixtape isn’t a mixtape per se, but an album filled with surprises that will provide a footnote in history for music.
