June 27, 2025 (Los Angeles, CA) — Today, dubstep heavy-hitter PEEKABOO — a.k.a. Matthew Lucas — joins forces with UK grime veteran Scrufizzer for the bone-rattling “One More Time,” his scorching debut single for Major Recordings / Warner Records. Fiery and frenzied, it’s another club-conquering addition to the celebrated Michigan producer’s eclectic discography. Listen HERE.
On “One More Time” PEEKABOO makes his intentions clear from the first beat: to get the dance floor jumping while West London MC Scrufizzer slides in to drive that point home as he rides the bass line. Over the past decade, PEEKABOO has reshaped the sound of modern dubstep. His 2019 EP, Wrecking Ball, debuted at #10 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart, while early collaborations like “Babatunde” with G-Rex were hailed as genre milestones. His official debut album, Eyes Wide Open, dropped in 2023 and features electronic music luminaries including Skrillex, Zeds Dead, LYNY, and Grabbitz, as well as his father, trumpeter Bill Lucas.
PEEKABOO’s ascent continued in 2024 with more than 20 sold-out headlining shows and over 45,000 tickets sold in the US alone. In 2025, PEEKABOO has revealed a pair of fresh collabs — “leaving (don’t tell me)” with WINK and “Gut Feeling” with Caspa — while turning his attention to the festival circuit, with EDC Mexico, Ultra Music Festival, and Lightning in a Bottle behind him, and choice slots on the horizon at Beyond Wonderland, FVDED in the Park, HARD Summer, and more.
Now, with “One More Time,” PEEKABOO’s inventive bass music is set to ignite a whole new audience.
