The project arrives via Sin Silencio, a record label under HYBE AMERICA, the global entertainment company known for developing genre-defining talent and expanding its presence across the Latin market. Domi Star unfolds as a cinematic, genre-blending journey, opening with “Celestial,” a moment of transformation where Esty reflects on the parts of herself she once hid before stepping into something more expansive and self-defined. The track’s ethereal guitar and slow-burning reggaeton rhythm build into a confident, rhythmic release, mirroring the emotional shift at its core. From there, “I GOGO” injects a bold, high-energy pulse, rooted in Dominican dembow and New York influence, capturing a carefree, untouchable confidence while celebrating femininity, identity, and community. As the album deepens, “V3n3n0” introduces one of its most emotionally exposed moments, reimagining bachata through an alternative lens with distorted textures, atmospheric guitar, and a Jersey club-inspired pulse that reflects the chaos of an intoxicating love. “Una Noche Mas” closes this first arc with a seductive, perreo-ready energy, blending reggaeton and dembow with sharp, futuristic, harpsichord-like textures, capturing the tension between control and desire as Esty leans into temptation without losing her sense of self.
The second half of the album shifts into reflection, intimacy, and release, beginning with “No Es Amor,” a stripped-back, guitar-led bachata that nods to her Dominican roots while incorporating a modern New York edge, complete with a standout electric guitar solo that underscores its emotional clarity. “Nectar” softens the atmosphere, blending tropical and afrobeat influences into a warm, fluid soundscape where Esty explores sensuality, softness, and control through intimate, hypnotic melodies. With “Origami,” she pushes her experimentation further, fusing traditional bachata with playful, global pop textures inspired by Japanese aesthetics, creating a sound that feels both unexpected and immersive. The emotional weight continues with “Mentiroso,” a slow, intimate blend of bachata and bossa nova where her vocals take center stage, delivering a raw yet controlled expression of heartbreak, betrayal, and self-liberation. Closing the album, “El Fin” marks a striking sonic departure, as Esty fully embraces a raw, guitar-driven rock sound, channeling intensity, rage, and release into a final moment that solidifies the project’s core message of transformation, signaling not just an ending, but a fearless arrival into her power.
