I was able to get a review sample of the VOID Wireless V2 Gaming Headset from Corsair. I got my laptop opened up and started to download their software called iCUE. I like to make sure I have the software and firmware update before I plug in my tech products. Once that is downloading, I did an unboxing video below of the headset. Once iCUE is done, I connect the headset to the laptop to allow any updates to be done.
Once all of that is done, I put on the headset while its connected to my laptop, to test it out. The first thing I noticed is how spectacular the sound is shown in the headset. The bass is throbbing hard while jamming to some music on Youtube, while also providing a crystal clear definition that made the music stand out beyond what it has been. I decided to turn it up a notch and play The Killing Floor 3 to fully review the headset. The sounds of screams and moans from zombies blared in my headset literally terrified me while playing the game. I had to look behind myself a few times just in case nothing is there. With Dolby, you feel like your actually there in the game with the specific sounds coming in all directions to your ears.
Then, I decided to allow Bluetooth connection to my Iphone and do some mobile gaming. THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PC AND MOBILE CONNECTION IN SOUND! You heard me right! I was playing on my mobile with the same Dolby sound that brought a gaming into a direct connection to my mind and soul. There was no difference between PC or Mobile in terms of lagging from sounds or disconnection from either platform. VOID Wireless V2 Gaming Headset brought a true definition of gaming to all platforms not only console or PC but also to mobile which I felt lagged big time in this industry.
