In Season 4, we seen a lot of burden and pain Jesus and his disciples have gone through. First, King Herod deals a major blow to Jesus and his disciples with the death of John the Baptizer. We watch as the King’s wife plots to make John the Baptizer is punished for saying the truth out to many people. Then another loss hits the group hard as Ramha dies while the Praetor loses control of the crowd. The loss of Ramha hits hard on Thomas as he was planning to marry Ramha. You can see the pain in Thomas eyes as he has to grieve daily with the group as Ramha is no longer there. You watch as Thomas questions Jesus’s preaching’s and decisions throughout this season as he continues to grieve.
Throughout the season, we watch as Jesus grapples with His disciples grasp of his teachings. He told them plainly that he is destined to die soon. His disciples don’t hear that per se, but are odds daily of what is needed to be done till then. They are at odds that they want to be on his side during this situation as they Love Him so much. Jesus talks with his mom and another figure about his disciples and how they are not grasping His teachings. This is all new to them and I feel that it will take time for His disciples to understand more. They are shaken daily on the Word of Jesus and this is taking them to time to understand. Being a leader is understanding you have to be fierce but also taken the punishment, listen but also talk, and being able to do things differently than ot

- With the loss of Ramha, Thomas is shattered due to his love not being there anymore.

- Jesus has a rough time wanting his disciples to become the leaders He wants them to be. He wants them to lead his ministry once He leaves this world. Jesus is at odds as his time is coming near and He wants to make sure his disciples do what they need to do.
