Despite surviving his Halloween massacre, Sienna and her brother find themselves targeted by Art the Clown’s terror again during Christmastime.
I was able to sit down and watch Terrifier 3 on my Peacock account. I’m a huge Terrifier fan and I’m glad to be able to have time to finally check it out. The movie is a gore fest! Of course, you know it was going to be. The movie starts off with Art dressed as Santa visiting a young family’s home. He was able to use an axe on the son and parents of the family, while the little girl was there in the background. Then Art and Victoria are shown later on terrorize a security guard that looks like Chris Jericho and give him a new face.
Later on we see Sienna being taken out of a hospital with her uncle and see’s her aunt’s family. Then, we see Jonathan attending college and trying to lead a normal life. Later on, Art and Victoria are awakened and are back on a murderous route where they are wanting to get to Sienna. I’m not going to spoil much any more but this is a good movie. Sienna’s story of who she really is was awesome, I felt that cosmic energy. Then the cameos that included Chris Jericho, Tom Savini, Clint Howard and many more. There were others, you may miss them, featured throughout the movie. The ending leaves an open space for another Terrifier movie, but I’m hoping Jonathan is part of it. I enjoyed his character, even though limited in this movie, I felt he should have more screen time.
Pro:
- Sienna’s Story
- There is some back history show of Sienna where she takes on the character her father creates. She is all powerful with her sword and is wanted by demons.
- Cameos
- A lot of cameos were featured in this movie including Clint Howard, Tom Savini, and many more. I enjoyed recognizing these horror actors I’ve met at different horror conventions throughout the years.
Con:
- What happened to Jonathan?
- Towards the end, we saw Art with a skull and he put glasses on their implying it was Jonathan. Even though the possessed Victoria was telling him in Jonathan’s voice, we didn’t see him get sliced or diced in the movie. I’m hoping he is still alive and makes it out for the next edition.
