The festival season is drawing close in the city of eternal euphoria, and it will be a season like no other. On the surface, nothing seems out of the ordinary – jester troupes are honing their performances, brewers are refining their recipes, mask-makers are sketching out the year’s novelties, and among the population at large, excitement is rising every day. But nothing is as it should be; in reality, the threat against Agrella and its inhabitants has never been greater. The question is, will someone notice the lurking dangers in time to avert the looming catastrophe?
I was able to get a review sample of Symbaroum: Agrella – City of Eternal Euphoria to review. I was able to do a first look video below to show what you would get when you order the book. The first thing we saw was the huge double sided map that came with the book. The map looks plain without much details of the city like road names, etc. This was done deliberately because this open world is huge and will need exploring. The investment of exploring and knowing where to go and where not to go are huge in the campaign.
While exploring, you will meet a lot of individuals including the Navy, wizards, thieves, and much more. They each all have an agenda that is filled with secrets. You will need to be very careful when interacting as a situation happened with one of our friends during a game. I won’t say what happened, but lets say, it was quite shocking.
I’m not going to spoil much but this campaign has a lot of investigations that will keep you on your toes. You will play for hours on end to find out certain situations. Get this now!
