(President: Atsuhiro Iwakami) today announced the global release of Resident Evil Survival Unit, a new mobile strategy game co-developed with JOYCITY Corporation (CEO: Seong Won Cho). The game is now available for download and play on iOS and Android devices in 151 countries and regions worldwide.

Based on Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil series, Resident Evil Survival Unit offers a fresh strategic experience tailored for mobile devices. The game blends the accessibility of mobile gaming with the depth of real-time strategy, allowing players worldwide to connect and compete in a new survival-themed adventure set in the Resident Evil universe.
Set in a parallel world inspired by the Resident Evil universe, the game features an original storyline and real-time strategic gameplay designed for mobile platforms. Players will build bases, secure resources, and battle creatures in a collapsed city. Iconic characters such as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine appear throughout the game, allowing for team formations that bring together characters from across the Resident Evil franchise, enabling unique combinations not seen in the original titles.
In addition to diverse gameplay elements including single-player missions and puzzle-based survival challenges, players can form alliances and coordinate strategies with others, delivering a tense and tactical survival experience.
World-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano joins the project as a guest designer, contributing the original creature “Mortem.” Symbolizing invisible fear and anxiety, Mortem brings a unique sense of tension and depth to the entire game world, adding a haunting new layer to the Resident Evil mythos through Amano’s singular vision.
To celebrate the global launch, a new trailer has been released today, showcasing the game’s intense atmosphere and strategic gameplay. The video captures the collapse of a city overtaken by an unknown infection, where players must survive alongside isolated survivors. It offers a visceral glimpse into the world of Resident Evil Survival Unit, making it easy for newcomers to grasp the tension and tactical depth of the experience.
