This season 2 of Peacemaker was just amazing! The storytelling, the progression of the characters, Vigilante, and much more was pure cinema! This Season 2 starts off with Peacemaker in a funk due to a situation that happened on the boat with Hardcourt. With the sadness, he goes through his dad’s portal to check things there here and there. Eagly, though, wanted Peacemaker to go to one room that matches his father’s door with exact keycode. Once he enters there, he meets his father and brother who are exact opposite than what he endured in his real world. While this is happening, the team is going through some downs with Abs single, Vigilante being Vigilante, Economos working for Argus, and Hardcourt is taking much worse. She has been getting into bar fights that essentially feels like breathing life back into her.
While that is happening, Rick Flagg Sr. is now head of Argus and has a personal vendetta against Peacemaker. He arranges a team to try and capture Peacemaker when he is using his portal. Then Rick Flagg later on in the season gets Lex Luthor himself to help him arrange away to figure out the portal tech and finally get it in their hands. This will be setting up a future movie for James Gunn and Superman I believe.
I don’t want to spoil much but this season, as dark it can be, showed glimpses of how a team should be. They go through hard times while succeeding and growing together. This is a 10 out of a 10 season for me! I hope there will be a season 3 as their was a cliff hanger at the end of the episode.
