Nov. 6, 2025 – KIBORG developer Sobaka Studio today reveals and launches the debut demo for Chicken Chicken, available now PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Versions for mobile and console are also in development.
In online matches supporting up to eight players, compete across a variety of minigames, some of which will require teamwork, while others make it every chicken, hen, and other party animals for themselves. Three minigames are available in today’s demo, with additional ones planned for launch in 2026.
Race against others in Cars, moving on the forward, reverse, and steering buttons as necessary, collecting seed bags. Drive your vehicle on top of the mountain, and deliver those bags to the giant chicken on his throne before time runs out.
Attempt to climb a makeshift mountain of decrepit buildings in Climbing Up. Their tiny arms don’t do much for stamina, and the cannons shooting around the map, plus the rocket launchers your opponents can pick up won’t help in your ascent.
Teamwork makes the dream work in Swamp, where two teams, tethered to a giant, just-hatched chicken, must catch as many flies as possible. Avoid snapping the tether by straying too far or falling into the murky sludge, for you can’t eat flies when one chicken is untethered!
Today’s demo supports up to eight player online matches with three minigames, with additional minigames planned for launch in 2026. Some will require smart thinking with your team while others will involve one chicken vs. the flock, but feathers will fly in chaotic mayhem in all the games.
“We come from a background of dark, violent action games like KIBORG, so Chicken Chicken might seem a bit unusual,” said Dmitry Kachkov, Head of Sobaka Studio. “But when you feel the pain of reaching the top of the mountain in Climbing Up…and someone hits you with a rocket launcher and sends you all the way to the bottom, you will understand.”
The debut demo for Chicken Chicken breaks out of its shell on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store today. For more information, follow Sobaka Studio on Twitter/X, YouTube, join the Discord server, and visit the official website for more updates.
