Caloncho is one of the most beloved voices in Spanish-language alternative pop. On March 19, he released Vivo En El Tiempo, which according to the artist, is an 8-song album that “understands time as a place.” It is accompanied by the international tour El Tiempo Es Mi Casa.
His take on reggae and ska results in a joyful, bubbly and chill record filled with luscious sounds. The artist himself describes it as “a natural balance between beach and city.”
Co-produced by Juan Pablo Vega and Caloncho, Vivo En El Tiempo took shape from sessions and experiences in different locations, with an important creative anchor in San José del Cabo
and La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
To quote the single “Mangos” off the new album, “We must not overthink / Being well is well-being.”
