LOS ANGELES, CA (May 5, 2025)–In preparation for his upcoming and highly anticipated EP “MEJOR SOLO </3,” música Mexicana rising star Saul Villarreal captivated fans delivering an outstanding performance at the renowned Michelada Fest in El Paso, Texas this past weekend. Bringing his emotional lyrics to life with his soulful stage presence, he drew the audience in completely, solidifying his place as one of Latin music’s most promising young artists.
The festival, held on Saturday, May 3, drew over ~4,000 attendees during his set and featured a lineup of other notable artists in música Mexicana artists such as Netón Vega, Snow Tha Product, Chino Pacas and more. Saul’s performance showcased his ability to move an audience and immerse a crowd, playing a mix of his original songs such as “Como le vamos hacer,” “Te cambie,” his hit track “Perdiendo,” and as a gift to his loyal fans, he performed for the first time “Parte De Mí, an unreleased track that will form part of Saul‘s upcoming EP, set to release later this month. His setlist also included somber covers of beloved favorites like “Lo que hay x aquí” by Spanish artist Rels B, “Vete ya” from música Mexicana legend Valentín Elizalde, the classic cumbia “Nunca es suficiente” by Los Angeles Azules and Natalia Lafourcade, reimagined with the the raw emotion of his signature sierreńo sound and “Hasta El Dia De Hoy” by Dareyes De La Sierra.
Saul released his debut EP, Ilusión in 2024 which climbed to the Top 50 Most-Listened-To Latin albums on Apple Music, alongside works by Grupo Frontera, Shakira and Kany Garcia.
