KIBORG is a relentless rogue-lite beat’em up where you enhance your body with new cybernetic implants each run. You’ve been sent to the worst prison in the galaxy for crimes you didn’t commit. Death won’t provide an escape, but a violent reality show may offer a way out.
I was able to get a digital key for the game KIBORG. I was able to redeem on the Xbox website and download the game to my console. Once downloaded, I was able to start the game. I was met in an area with an AI system talking about what your doing there and more. I started to do the tutorials to learn the basic attacks and movements. Once I was ready, I went to the next room to learn that I am in a TV show. Well, actually its a reality TV show where you must fight your way out for “freedom”.
I was able to use my new moves and attack my opponents until that stage is clear. The move set is pretty good, reminded me of those fighting games at the arcade. Here though, your fighting to survive and make it out of the area. Once cleared, I would get a bonus item like coins, weapons, or enhancements. I love the enhancements cause you can enhance your body for the next stage. You can add powerful new legs, arms, spine, and much more. Just know, it is hard, you will die multiple times. Once you die, you back to the front with the AI and can purchase further enhancements to your body such as more health and weapons.

- Enhancements
- I enjoyed the most was enhancements as I watched my body become stronger and better than before. I was able to do things that I wasn’t able to do before with the new enhancements to my body.
- Creative move set
- The move set was very creative throughout the levels. I was able to gain new moves during certain stages that helped me excel very well in each stage.
Con:
- Difficult
- While going to the levels, the game gets more difficult. The difficulty that I had most was that going into the levels, at times, I had low health. Your able to restore some health but not all using your coins if there is a machine available.
