November 24, 2025 (Spring, TX) – POP CULTURE CON welcomes Zach Galligan to the 2026 entertainment slate. Best known as Billy Peltzer in the comedy-horror films Gremlins (1984) and Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), Galligan is schedule to appear all weekend to meet fans with autograph/photo opportunities. This Black Friday, fans can catch screenings of the original 1984 film at Houston area theaters. Earlier this month, Warner Bros Studios announced the release date of November 2027 for the next film installment, GREMLINS 3. Get your tickets now to meet the star of this cult classic film. “We’re excited and privileged to have Zach Galligan appear at POP CULTURE CON 2026. The original film Gremlins is a beloved cult classic that is still gaining fans and popularity to this day,” said Edwin McMichael, founder and organizer.
In addition to Gremlins, his first major and most widely seen role, Galligan has appeared in various TV and film roles. He reprised his role as Billy in 2021 for a Mountain Dew Gremlins themed commercial and again, in 2022, in the animated series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai.
POP CULTURE CON is a two-day event filled with celebrity Q & A panels with opportunities for autographs, voice recordings and photo ops and vendor hall for shopping for that special keepsake or collector item.
