MAUDE LATOUR RELEASES NEW SINGLE “TICKTICKBOOM”

September 12, 2025 (Los Angeles, CA) – Today, acclaimed artist-to-watch Maude Latour serves up a brand new single entitled “TickTickBoom” out now via Warner Records. Listen HERE. It heralds the arrival of the Deluxe Edition of her acclaimed debut album Sugar Water on September 26, 2025. Pre-order/Pre-save HERE. Check out the full tracklisting below.

“TickTickBoom” showcases yet another facet of Maude’s artistry. She slows down the tempo as a dreamy beat underscores her lovestruck verses. Gentle vocals barely crack a whisper, and she coos, “I like nineties record and, you’re more like 2000s groovin’.” The momentum reaches a climax on the chorus, and her voice melts into the airy haze, “Tick tick tick tick tick…boom, I start to feel sick without you.” It captures the best kind of infatuation at the onset of a new romance.

Beyond “TickTickBoom,” she notably recharged and reupped Sugar Water (Deluxe) with five new tracks, including “Sailor 99,” “XO,” “Maps,” and the recent fan favorite “Miss America.” Upon release, the latter landed on Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need To Know.” Plus, OnesToWatch hailed it as an “Ode to all-encompassing queer love,” going on to attest, “Maude Latour pens this epic single from her own perspective, but it’s clearly an anthem for all of her fans to experience together.”

Next up, she will hit the road as direct support to Alex Warren on his sold-out Cheaper Than Therapy Tour. It kicks off on September 23 in Indianapolis, IN at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park, visits markets across the country, and concludes on October 15 in Columbus, OH at KEMBA Live! The full itinerary is enclosed below.

The original Sugar Water reacted with fans worldwide in a big way – among many highlights, “Cursed Romantics” has amassed north of 2 million Spotify streams.  Earning widespread acclaim, American Songwriter praised how “She has a certain style in her vocals that’s simultaneously bubbly and matter-of-fact.” EARMILK cut right to the chase, “Someone please give Maude Latour her Grammy.”

The 12-track record made its highly-anticipated debut to acclaim from the likes of Stereogum, ELLE, PAPER, V Magazine, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and many more. With undeniable cosmic-pop hooks and a philosophical grounding in its lyrics, the new LP was co-produced alongside longtime collaborator Mike Adubato, plus hitmakers Austen Healey (Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo), Zhone (Kesha, Troye Sivan), and Alex Chapman (Troye Sivan, Kim Petras). It features recently released singles “Whirlpool, “Too Slow”“Cursed Romantics, and “Comedown,” plus 8 new songs, including the euphoric opening track “Officially Mine” and title track “Sugar Water.”
