Marshall returns to Austin during SXSW with a free, unofficial and all-ages daytime showcase at Mohawk on Monday, March 16 from 12–6 p.m. Taking over both indoor and outdoor stages, the event stacks a curated lineup of emerging and established artists, alongside local community collaborators and independent partners that define Austin’s music culture. The RSVP link is now live.
Open to locals and SXSW visitors alike, the event’s genre-spanning lineup reflects Marshall’s global music community, featuring a mix of local, regional and international talent, including two headlining acts exclusively playing this showcase – Chicago’s indie pop duo Water from Your Eyes and the band’s Nate Amos’ spin-off act, This Is Lorelei. The other amazing acts rounding out this year’s bill include LA-based rock band Rocket, Brooklyn-based indie artist Meg Elsier, powerhouse Dallas alternative hip-hop collective Cure for Paranoia, Mexico City-based alternative rock band Diles Que No Me Maten, London-based alternative artist Ashaine White, Nashville-based indie duo Total Wife, New York City-bred rock group bloodsports, Salt Lake City rockers Worlds Worst, and Austin’s own electronic pop duo Almost Heaven and psychedelic fuzz group Gran Moreno. Local DJs DevilWoman and Horse Opera will keep the well-curated music going throughout the event.
Beyond the music, attendees can experience activations from community partners like Feels So Good doing live screen printing with limited-edition merch drops throughout the day, a record pop-up by Waterloo Records, free popsicles by Cold Ones, and Zee’s Weiner System for purchase – along with other brand giveaways and more in store.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The unofficial Marshall day party is an important part of the brand’s commitment to supporting the independent venues, artists, record stores, and community partners that keep local music scenes alive. In Austin, this commitment has been amplified since 2025 through partnerships with Mohawk, the Red River Cultural District, and independent promoter Resound Presents – supporting Free Week and other key cultural moments across the city. Resound Presents is once again partnering with Marshall to bring the daytime showcase to life, reinforcing a shared dedication to community-driven live music experiences.
This showcase announcement comes on the cusp of the brand launching its latest initiative, Amplify, a new membership program that’s free to join and embeds long-term support for grassroots music into the way the brand grows. Through Amplify, Marshall commits an amount equal to 1% of member purchases on marshall.com to support local music communities – starting with independent venues worldwide in the form of backline, funded events, and longer term partnership opportunities.
