Interview with Krapf

I was able to sit down with Krapf to discuss their inspiration to write music, heroes, and much more. Be sure to check out the music of Krapf on Spotify below after the interview.

Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?

My inspiration comes from my past and present experiences as well as future apprehensions of life. They are either very real moments I have gone through or more abstract “what if” thoughts & emotions of what’s coming.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

I grew up in the contemporary Christian church and listened heavily to that style of music. In later years I began listening to older rock / neo classical metal.

Is there someone you looked up to as a hero?

My dad!

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing today?

Something to help others or animals. Therapist/personal trainer or work in a vet clinic.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?

Write for yourself. Others will resonate with authenticity and will in turn support you in the long haul.
