Today, we sat down with David Moore and Westridge to discuss inspiration to write music, latest single, and more. Be sure to check out the music of David Moore and Westridge on Spotify below after the interview.
Interview:
What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?
Usually on an emotional impulse…something which made an impact
on me I can relate to emotionally.
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
Classic rock….Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Creedance, etc.
Is there someone you looked up to as a hero?
No.
If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing today?
Playing soccer.
What can you tell us about your latest single ‘Mysteries of Life’?
Mysteries Of Life was written by my best friend Jim Patterson. It was in our
play list back in our club days and is a great fit for my upcoming album titled “A Wink
Is As Good As A Nod To A Blind Mule”…a tribute to Jim who passed away in 2013.
6. What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?
Do it for the love of it. There is so much music being released these days that
if your only reason to make music is to go viral or be famous you will lose sight
of the original reason you started making music to begin with. Enjoy each song you
write…
