Farming Simulator 16-Bit Edition brings classic farming action to the pixelated era! Take on the role of a dedicated farmer and transform your land into a thriving agricultural empire. With an authentic 16-bit aesthetic, you’ll plant, harvest, and manage your farm using a variety of retro-styled machinery.
I was able to get a review copy of Farming Simulator 16 Bit Edition sent to my home. I was able to do a first look and unboxing below so our readers can see what comes with the collectible 16 bit edition. Once done, I was able to fire up my Mega Drive and try out the game. First thing I noticed was how smooth the game felt in the 16 bits of my console. I haven’t felt like this in years and grew excited with each touch of my controller’s buttons in the game.
I did learn about The Farming Cycle that is used by farmers to grow their crops. This is engraved when you first start the game and learn those aspects. This game me a better appreciation for farmers and how they use that cycle to create the crops and food we enjoy today.
Then I was jamming hard throughout the game by the soundtrack you will hear. This is rare where I can say I can groove to the music while enjoying my time playing the game. I was shocked on how well the music was created for Farming Simulator 16 Bit Edition. Big ups to composer Chris Hulsbeck! I danced a bit haha!
Lastly, in the age of digital, its always good to have something physical. The physical edition of Farming Simulator felt so good in my hands and soon in my gaming wall. I enjoy owning my games and playing whenever I want even when the internet is down. I will be playing Farming Simulator a great deal as its fun and the music goes hard.
Unboxing:
Pro:
- The Farming Cycle
- I never grew up on a farm, so learning the aspects of farming through the cycle the game presents is pretty neat. I learned what I needed to do in order for my crops to be grown very successfully.
- Collectible Cartridge
- I like to make sure I own the physical copy of any game I have. I know many times digital is used a lot these days, but holding a game that you own in your hands is a different pleasure anyone needs to experience. I know I said this is very collectible, but its great to own a copy of the game that you can play over and over with no internet needed.
- Cool Soundtrack
- Addicting I have to say is the music in Farming Simulator 16 Bit Edition! The soundtrack is done by Chris Hulsbeck and that person know what I enjoy when I game. The music is fantastic throughout the game with makes it feel I’m inside my tractor just jamming to tunes!
