BMI ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE OF EVENTS DURING SXSW 2026

February 25, 2026 (New York, NY) — BMI has announced its schedule of events during the 2026 SXSW Music Festival & Conference. From March 11-14, BMI will spotlight 31 acts across four showcases, providing a go-to destination for discovering today’s rising stars in pop, country, Latin, hip-hop, R&B, rock and everything in between. On March 19, BMI Writers in the Round will return to Luck Reunion for its fourth year under the Revival Tent, highlighting three BMI songwriters on the rise. As a founding sponsor of the festival for over 30 years, BMI’s showcases are known for consistently presenting the best new music from its incredible roster of songwriters.

BMI PRESENTS HOWDY TEXAS
Wednesday, March 11th at Güero’s Taco Bar

BMI will present its annual Howdy Texas party at a new venue, Güero’s Taco Bar (1412 S Congress Ave). The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature performances from six diverse Texas-based artists, including Claire Hinkle, Elijah Delgado, Magna Carda, Matt Kirk and The Güeyfarers, MackMartin and The 4411, with styles ranging from pop, blues, jazz, R&B, and a genre-blending sound known as Texicana.
YETI MUSIC SHOWCASE, PRESENTED BY BMI

There will be something for everyone at the annual YETI Music Showcase, Presented by BMI at the YETI Flagship on South Congress (220 S Congress Ave). Over the course of two days, attendees will have the chance to check out 14 full-band sets from emerging artists spanning the spectrum from introspective pop and modern folk to energetic indie rock and more. The event will also include drink specials and limited-edition custom designs. This showcase is sponsored by Coca-Cola, Dogfish Head, Smart Water, Topo Chico and White Claw.

As one of the most highly anticipated events of the festival, the BMI Brunch is known for consistently delivering diverse sounds from songwriters on the rise. This year’s event will highlight the talents of Joy Oladokun, Dizzy Fae, She Returns From War, NEZZA, little luna, The Band Loula and many more across two stages. The BMI Brunch is sponsored by Coca-Cola, Dogfish Head, Smart Water, Topo Chico and White Claw.
BMI WRITERS IN THE ROUND AT LUCK REUNION

BMI is excited to present BMI’s Writers in the Round under the Revival Tent at Luck Reunion for the fourth consecutive year. BMI songwriters Julianna Rankin, Emma Ogier and Leon Majcen will perform intimate renditions of some of their favorite songs and share stories of the inspiration behind them.
