BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA is a third-person horror adventure game. Players will experience the “guchagucha” terror through the perspective of Garasu Yuki, a female university student, as she becomes entangled in the cursed fate swirling around the town of Utagamachi in Japan.
We were able to get a review key for Ban: The Prologue of Gucha Gucha for Steam. We were able to have Absynthraven stream Ban: the Prologue of Gucha Gucha for us on Twitch and give us a review! She ventured into some unknown places in the game with a small clip of video below. She enjoyed the story as Yuki us trying to find her dog while discovering a lot about her town and creature that resides there. She did get scared numerous of times which she enjoys! While she was playing, she did found some bugs concerning the graphics situation. She was able to get patches to help with that but under the retro setting did work better but provided a more lower quality of screen time. Either way, its a fun scary game to enjoy!

- Shoko Yuki is attacked by a strange creature while walking her dog named Chocolat. Though Yuki manages to escape, she loses Chocolat, who vanishes in that situation. Yuki is determined to find Chocolat and goes through in search of her dog and meets that strange creature once more!
- Scary
- I yelled and screamed throughout the game!
Con:
- Retro Graphics
- I had some trouble with the graphics settings for the game. I know they did some patches which has greatly helped out the playthrough of the game. The setting for graphics under the retro settings helps keeps the game running smoothly but feel it greatly undermines the games ability. I felt the graphics are a big part of the game that zooms in on what your looking for and with the retro side, it makes it more difficult than it should be.
