With its unapologetically heartfelt lyrics and raw emotion, “Yo No Te Olvido” captures the universal struggle of moving on while still being tethered to a past love. Fueled by Armenta and Tito’s commanding voices, the song amplifies candid emotion and transparent storytelling, portraying the pain and intensity of a love that can no longer be sustained. The music video for “Yo No Te Olvido,” directed by Epho, captures the raw heartache of the song’s lyrics, portraying a turbulent relationship on the verge of collapse through gritty visuals and moody, atmospheric lighting. Armenta and Tito bring the lyrics to life with a passionate performance of the song, as they are captured in dimly lit slow-motion visuals that reflect the brooding tension that exists after a breakup. Interwoven with a backdrop of chaotic scenes of a fractured love story, feelings of emotional distress and intensity can be felt through the screen as romance quickly turns volatile. With cinematic shots of a destructive relationship the video dramatizes the unraveling of a love that has been pushed to its limits.

Armenta continues to affirm his position as one of the most authentic voices in today’s música Mexicana. Originally from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, he has earned recognition for his raw, emotional storytelling and a style that bridges tradition with modernity. Armenta recently earned his first-ever No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Songwriters chart, marking a major career milestone for one of música Mexicana’s most dynamic and sought-after voices. With over 5 million monthly Spotify listeners, he is the writer behind chart-topping hits such as “Bebe Dame,” “Ch y la Pizza,” and “Igualito a Mi Apá,” songs that have earned him multiple BMI Awards and established him as a key songwriter in the movement. His lyricism has shaped tracks like “Loqueando” from Netón Vega’s breakout album and the fan-favorite “TÚ SÍ” from Tito Double P’s debut album—a collaboration that brought him onstage as a surprise guest during several sold-out shows in the U.S., including stops in Reading (PA), Newark (NJ), Ontario (CA), and Rio Rancho (NM), and most recently at Baja Beach Festival 2025, marking a milestone that highlighted his growing prominence. Armenta has also contributed to the genre-blending anthem “AURORA” with Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, and Óscar Maydon, and expanded his artistry through standout collaborations including “MOTIVOS” with Gabito Ballesteros, “Risueño” with Dareyes de la Sierra, and “Entre Lokeras” with La Cuatiza. His debut album Pórtate Bien showcases his versatility and emotional depth across collaborations with Jorsshh, Calle 24, Dannylux, Chino Pacas, Manuel Turizo, Manuel Medrano, and more, blending tradition with modernity in a way that underscores his artistry. The album marks a major milestone in Armenta’s career, establishing him not just as a voice of the future of música Mexicana, but as an artist actively shaping its evolution.
