All Aboard the Mugen Train: Boba Bear Launches an Officially Licensed Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Experience in the U.S.

Temple City, CA —  June 1, 2025 — This summer, fans of the global anime phenomenon Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will have the chance to step into the world of Tanjir and the Mugen Train through a limited-time collaboration at Bearology Temple City, presented by Boba Bear in partnership with Aniplex of America.

Launching on June 8, 2025, Demon Slayer × Boba Bear marks an officially licensed experience in the United States. The popular beverage lounge will transform into a fully immersive, anime-inspired pop-up. Guests can expect Mugen Train-themed décor, exclusive drinks and collectibles, and interactive activations that bring the Demon Slayer universe to life.

“Boba Bear has always been about culture, creativity, and community,” said Teddy Zou, founder of Boba Bear. “We’re thrilled to partner with Aniplex of America to give fans a new way to engage with their favorite series while enjoying our signature drinks and brand-new themed menu.”

Highlights of the Experience Include:

  • Themed Beverage Menu featuring drinks inspired by beloved characters, like Tanjiro’s Gentle Resolve (green apple mint tea) and Nezuko’s Sweet Bloom (strawberry lychee milk tea)

  • Demon Slayer-Inspired Bites, including Mugen Gyunabe bento boxes, Tanjiro sword churros, and grilled onigiri

  • The Nichirin Tumbler, a strawless collectible with a sword-shaped window that reveals your fighting style based on your drink selection—each one channeling a slayer’s elemental affinity

  • The Nezuko Mug, designed after Tanjiro’s woven travel pack, reveals a hidden image when filled with a hot beverage

  • Photo Ops & In-Store Games, including Rengoku’s Flame Trial, Fuku & Tomi’s Bento Stall, and the Dream Infiltration Group Game

  • Themed Train Tickets, guests receive a collectible “train ticket” upon entry and earn custom stamps through various in-store activities—redeemable for exclusive rewards

  • Exclusive Limited-Edition Merchandise, including the Nezuko Mug, collectible credit card skins, posters, and aprons

Guests will receive a themed “train ticket” upon entry, earning custom stamps through various activities inside. Once completed, fans can redeem exclusive rewards and collectibles. Operating seven days a week from 11am to 11PM, the activation will run for two months only. Grand opening June 8th and running until the end of July. 

 

The experience will also appear at major anime and night market events including Anime Expo LA, 626 Night Market, and Foodieland throughout the summer.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production is by acclaimed studio, Ufotable.

The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted boy whose family is slaughtered by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a cure for his sister Nezuko, who was turned into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from 2021 through 2022.

The TV series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc was broadcast and streamed online in May.

The production of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is confirmed to arrive in movie theatres as a trilogy.

The series has captivated audiences worldwide with its tragic tale of humans and demons, riveting sword fights, charming characters, and comical scenes.
