We were able to get a review copy of Alien: Role Playing Game Core Rules Evolved Edition. I was able to do an unboxing video below of what you would get with the Core Rules Evolved Edition! Once done, my friends and I were able to sit down and go over the core rules. First thing I noticed was the amazing artwork. The artists did an amazing job bringing this to life and I felt so excited looking at the images.
I don’t want to spoil much but here are some information from what we read:
There are so many things you can do and create in the rule book. You can create planets, pick weapons, aliens, talents, and much more! We had a lot of discussions of how we wanted to shape our world. I didn’t realize there was so much to chose and build from in the Alien world.
Also, there is a solo survivor game at the end where you can test your skills and do a quick game. I lost quickly haha, but it was fun! My friends, on the other hand, were able to go farther in solo survivor than I was. They all perished just like me, but this gave us a huge insight in the Alien lore.
