Air Blu Ray Review

Air Blu Ray Review

From award-winning director Ben Affleck, AIR reveals the unbelievable game-changing partnership between a then-rookie Michael Jordan and Nike’s fledgling basketball division, which revolutionized the world of sports and contemporary culture with the Air Jordan brand. This moving story follows the career-defining gamble of an unconventional team with everything on the line, the uncompromising vision of a mother who knows the worth of her son’s immense talent, and the basketball phenom who would become the greatest of all time.

We were able to get review copy of Air to add to our Holiday Gift Guide 2023. We were able to do an unboxing below to see what was inside the movie Air. I enjoyed watching the movie as the story was so interesting. We always seen the point of view of Michael Jordan and his rise with the Bulls, but not with his shoes. His shoes from Nike revolutionized basketball shoes and all shoes in general. An amazing story that I just captivated your soul.

Pro:

  • Collectible
    • As a Michael Jordan fan, having a physical copy of this movie is very collectible. I know it started off as a streaming movie, but having a physical copy is nice as well. A lot of people still collect Michael Jordan memorabilia and having this is something worthwild to have.
  • Michael Jordan / Nike story
    • I know we all read and heard the story about Michael Jordan rise to fame and fortune with the Bulls. Well, many people didn’t know how hard Nike pushed to get Michael Jordan. This story with Nike is very unique and interesting as I’ve never heard of this story before.

Con:

  • No Special Features
    • I know this movie came out originally on Prime Video, but I was hoping since it’s a Blu Ray release, there would be a special features for the movie. I wanted to see behind the scenes footage and more about creating the movie. Maybe even video footage of their premiere at SXSW in Austin, Tx.

Rating: 8 out of 10
