Miami, Florida (July 17, 2025) – Mexican music sensation Xavi joins forces with REIK on “LA DEL PRIMER PUESTO,” a bold collaboration that dazzles with its fusion of styles and consolidates Xavi‘s artistic reach in the Latin pop universe.
Composed by Xavi himself, the song represents a fresh turn in his career, venturing into pop territory alongside one of the genre’s most iconic groups. “LA DEL PRIMER PUESTO” radiates romanticism as it recounts the sweet taste and joyful feeling of falling in love at first sight. The song fuses worlds with an endearing proposal where pop predominates, but is enriched with touches of folk and urban music that captivate from the first chords.
The single is accompanied by a video directed by José Lupercio (who also made the video for “No Molestar”). The great artistic photography places Xavi and REIK at the center doing what they do best: captivating their audience. In addition, the clip shows images of a couple in love.
