Producer/DJ duo Two Friends continued their performance-packed summer with an unforgettable set headlining the Perry’s Stage at Lollapalooza on Saturday, August 2nd. The seemingly unending sea of spectators was met with the duo rolling into Lollapalooza with a full drumline, a blazing horn section, and their saxophonist in tow—setting the vibe and stealing the scene.
Bringing unrelenting energy, the duo treated fans to a performance of their most recent release, “No One Else” and were joined onstage by the song’s featured rising pop artist Corbyn Besson. Intertwined with remixes and original tracks that have made the duo a must-see at festivals across the country, Two Friends turned up the momentum with a surprise premiere of their unreleased original song “Waiting for You” featuring powerhouse vocalist Natalie Jane.
As a grand finale to the momentous performance, a 500-drone show graced the skies of Grant Park, including an impressive 100 pyro drones. During the duo’s final moments on stage, the drones aligned to spell out “BIG BOOTIE LAND 5/16/2026”, announcing the return of Two Friends’ iconic annual Big Bootie Land to Chicago at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island.
Riding on the momentum of their adrenaline-charged festival set, Two Friends played a sold-out official Lollapalooza aftershow at Sound Bar.
Earlier this summer, Two Friends premiered their Big Bootie Mix, Vol. 26, at Big Bootie Land Seattle. A sold-out night filled with never-before-heard beats, impressive pyrotechnics, live saxophone, and nonstop dancing, the energy at WAMU Theater was unmatched. Their electrifying stage presence and signature mashup style drew fans from around the globe.
This past May, Two Friends kicked off their summer of live shows with a high-octane performance at the Indy 500.
