December 11, 2025 – Hooded Horse is pleased to announce another new addition to its portfolio of world-class strategy, simulation, and tactical games, which now stands at nearly 50 titles. Revealed during the Find Your Next Game Winter Showcase, Hero’s Hour 2 offers a fresh foray into the series’ unique blend of fantasy, turn-based strategy, and RPG action.
Sequel to 2022’s best-selling, critically acclaimed turn-based RPG, Hero’s Hour 2 challenges players to build grand cities, raise mighty armies, and fight massive battles to vanquish all foes. Powerful heroes at the head of unique factions bring endless possibilities as they lead armies of the dead, the living, and everything in between, blending turn-based strategic nation-building with RPG and auto-battling mechanics.
Whether playing alone or with friends, prepare for endless replayability! Lead armies of Vampires, Liches, Gryphons, Skeletons, and strange, never-before-seen creatures, spread across multiple factions with mighty heroes wielding powerful artifacts. Choose to lead a righteous force, beings of pure evil, forest creatures, or other mysterious monsters. Each faction will feature unique heroes, units, buildings, and skills to ensure they play differently, presenting varied opportunities to exploit for maximum effect.
Hero’s Hour 2 is being built by a cooperative of developers – the original Hero’s Hour creator, Benjamin Hauer, has teamed up with Seer’s Gambit developers Unleash the Giraffe, as well as solo developer LautaroArino.

The game will be localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
Hero’s Hour 2 is coming to PC via Steam Early Access.

Hero’s Hour 2 is a turn-based RPG/auto-battler and sequel to the popular Hero’s Hour game released in 2022. The new version is being developed by a cooperative of developers led by Benjamin “ThingOnItsOwn” Hauer, the developer of the original Hero’s Hour, with help from Unleash the Giraffe, who previously worked on Seer’s Gambit, and solo developer LautaroArino. Each studio brings a specific discipline to the project.
