We were able to get a review sample of The Lords of the Rings Roleplaying 5th Edition book. I was able to do an unboxing video to showcase what is inside the book.
There is a lot in this book that brings you up to speed on the Lore of The Lord of the Rings. You will start a fellowship where it will take you on so many paths including fights with Orcs, meeting people, and much more. Your characters will need to take time to develop and learn their proper rules. This comes with being the Loremaster where you devise the settings of the area and bring about a creative way to enjoy the game. We all fought for this, I didn’t get it after 2 rounds, but its ok, I will get that title soon. The Eriador map that comes with the book is so dang good! You can see how thoughtful the artists put into time creating this map for everyone to use.
I didn’t want to spoil much in this review, there is a LOT! I will say this…You and your friends will have so much fun! This is a learning experience, but once you learn the rules, you in for a grand adventure!
