This Season 3, we see Jesus completing his speech to the people that rang in the thousands. After his speech, many people go out and spread to good Word of Jesus. While that is happening, we meet a young Judas. He is mesmerized of the word of Jesus that he leaves his business to join Jesus. While that is going on, Jesus sends everyone home to relax after being on the road for weeks. We watch as Simon and his wife want to start a family. Then, we see how the rest of the disciples are trying to fit in the small town that only Simon, Andrew, James, Mary, Matthew, and John know about. This creates a fuss as everyone is trying to find a place to stay with those that have a home and those that are scared to go back to their home.

I don’t want to spoil much about this season but I enjoyed these two situations this season. Simon’s Trial where Jesus relied on him to save the group from the storm. Simon’s idea of the boat showed that he had to put his trust in Jesus and not stray away. When following Jesus, he wanted Simon know it is hard but He is getting him ready for what is there to come.

Secondly, Jesus sent all disciples, by 2’s, out to different cities to preach the Word. Jesus would allow them to have the Power to help heal and teach others that are in need. Once they came back, they were at odds with each other of why they had to go out there and help others. They felt Jesus should have been the one out there as they still felt like students. I enjoyed this as Jesus talked to them and let them know that they all have the ability to help others gain Faith. This way, the Word of Jesus is spread faster and gives the Disciples the ability to lead when Jesus is gone.

Pro:

  • Simon’s Trial
    • This taught Simon that the road he is on with Jesus is tough but he will be strong around Him. Jesus said the Lord will reward him when its time to gain it.
  • Teaching What You Learned
    • You will learn a lot from the Word of Jesus, so He trusted his followers with his Words on various journeys. I liked how he gave them that trust to do that and also gave feed back to why they needed to journey on that note.

Con:

None

Rating: 10 out 10
