The second season of The Chosen has Jesus and his students travel around various cities to preach the Word. They watch as Jesus’s stories are being shared by so many people. The growth does alarm’s the students as they fear for His safety. They do argue with each other because they fear Rome or one of the Hebrew leaders will try to do harm to Jesus. Mary, one of Jesus students, has a situation where she leaves the group to go back to her sins. The students are divided by Mary’s decision but Simon and Matthew gets her back. She is very ashamed but Jesus talks to Mary and forgives her.
We watch more of Rome introduction this season with more watching of their formations as well as how they are taking the news of Jesus. What made this more intriguing as they talked about Cesar and other aspects of Rome that always would interest me. Then, we learned that Rome has their own secret police who has been watching Jesus for a while.
This season is really good and is a must watch!
