The crime-fighting, pizza loving Turtle brothers are back and better than ever in this co-op roguelike action game that will have players travel through reality-bending portals to rescue their abducted master, Splinter.
Metalhead is here to join the fight as the newest hero in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. Metalhead joins as the first first full-range hero, armed with a powerful laser gun, explosive landmines that will detonate on enemy contact, and tactical skills to keep enemies at bay. The DLC also comes with 5 new artifacts to spice up your runs.
The game is currently available to play on Steam, Epic Store, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5&4 and Apple Arcade. The game is also fully compatible with Steam Deck.
I was able to get a review Metalhead DLC code for the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. I was able to redeem the code on my Xbox Series S console to which the game was updated. To unlock Metalhead, you would need to play the game alone in one of the difficulty levels. I’m game for that and of course I played with my Michelangelo character. First things first, the DLC also comes with new artifacts, arcade mode, and much more. The arcade mode is so cool and I enjoyed that a lot. This mode gave me the opportunity to go through that area as a button masher. Yes, when I’m not thinking of how to dodge and plan my attacks, I do like to button mash haha!
Once I went through the level (easy of course), I was able to unlock Metalhead. I was very excited to Metalhead as part of my group of characters. When I picked Metalhead to use as my character was a huge release for my gameplay. The laser gun he has is really cool and deals some damage to the enemy. I can shoot from a distance instead of being really close like it my hand to hand combat. I do have to work on my aim but its all good. Then, Metalhead has landmines that you can place that will deal damage to those enemies that like to follow you closely. Those rats give me the creeps and always following me around while running and dodging them in the game.
Metalhead DLC provided a lot of cool items for Splintered Fate but the biggest one is having the character Metalhead. Be sure to get the DLC now!
Pro:
- Laser Gun
- I thought this was very interesting for Metalhead in the game. I’m used to using my hand to hand combat and weapons in close range. With the laser gun, I’m able to shoot enemies from a distance.
- Landmines
- This is something I needed in the game as I’m always jumping and running everywhere. Once, those landmines were there, I was able to destroy the enemy with quick responses.
