When Superman is drawn into conflicts both abroad and at home, his actions to protect humankind are questioned.
I was able to sit down at home and watch Superman as it premiered on HBO Max. I was pretty excited to check this out as I’m a huge DC fan as well as comic nerd. I know James Gunn does his movies in a certain view and way that are pretty decent. He did an amazing job here in this movie! I felt like this was more of a traditional Superman movie that put more forth in values and building friendships.
Superman is battling his foe Lex Luthor, but Lex starts to get much smarter than Superman. With his deals in warring nations, this put Superman at a dilemma that risks the world without their hero. There is a ton of action in this movie where in past Superman movies couldn’t comprehend. I enjoyed the action which told the story through so many emotional wave lengths. I enjoyed that hard! I enjoyed also the cast of characters they introduced here. I watch a lot of DC Animation and seen these characters used in those animated movies, so I’m glad they are at the forefront for a Superman movie.
