Studio Chizu Brings the Legendary Land of OZ to Roblox in Celebration of the North American Premiere of “Scarlet”

CHIZU, Inc. – February 6, 2026 – To celebrate the North American theatrical release of Scarlet, the latest film from acclaimed Director Mamoru Hosoda, Studio Chizu will launch a new Roblox lobby collaboration titled “Summer Wars Survivor.” The Roblox collaboration will launch worldwide on February 11th, 2026 7PM PST/ 10PM EST.

Roblox is a virtual world where people from across the globe can come together online to interact via computer, smartphone, or on Xbox and PlayStation consoles through their unique avatars. For the first time ever, fans can step into a reimagined version of the virtual world OZ, originally introduced in Hosoda’s 2009 hit “Summer Wars”, in an interactive, global multiplayer experience. “Summer Wars Survivor” is a lobby where fans can extend their experience of “Scarlet” beyond the theater.

Morph Into Beloved Studio Chizu Characters

Transform into beloved characters using the “Morph” function, while maintaining your unique Roblox avatar style. Strike a “Heroine Pose” in front of your favorite movie posters and take commemorative snapshots in OZ.

Multiplayer Action in “Summer Wars Survivor” Mode

Team up with up to 4 players in a fast-paced survival mode. Use items and support characters inspired by Hosoda’s past works to battle enemies and survive to the end. Power-ups and items are available at the in-game shop.

Updates to expand the World of OZ are planned post February 13, 2026 launch.
