After starting his career singing on Medellín buses and building buzz with rap freestyles, Ryan moved to Curaçao in search of change, where during his time there, he balanced everyday jobs while continuing to make music. The island became a place of deep personal and artistic growth, where genres like reggae, dancehall, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms shaped both his sound and his sense of purpose, now fully captured on Sendé.

“Sendé’ is a very personal project that reflects everything I lived and learned in Curaçao. It’s full of feeling, Caribbean influences and that dancehall flow that has always identified me. The title comes from Papiamento and it means feeling good, with good vibes and that’s exactly what I want to transmit.” — Ryan Castro

Building on the success of his RIAA 2x Platinum debut album El Cantante Del Ghetto, which reached #2 on Spotify’s “Top Albums Global Debut” chart and #8 in the U.S, Ryan Castro now presents Sendé. While his debut paid tribute to his roots in Medellín, Sendé immerses listeners in the Caribbean sounds and cultural influences Castro absorbed while living in Curaçao, delivering an album crafted at the very source of his artistic transformation.
