Alchemize is a 5 piece R&B/metal fusion band from Manchester with 3 vocalists. The band have released just six tracks to date and have already landed official Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Pandora and TIDAL playlisting, coverage with BBC Radio 1 (including Track Of The Week), Kerrang, Dreambound, RTE2XM, Amazing Radio, Idobi Howl, Total Rock Radio and played multiple sold out headline shows as well as sharing stages with Polar, Defects and Black Coast. The band will release new single ‘Only We Know’ on the 7th March 2025 and recently announced signing to UK label Year Of The Rat Records (Lastelle, SAVE US, Black Orchid Empire, Kite Thief) – With plenty of new music to come the band will quickly establish themselves in the UK metal circuit.
Adam Kenyon – ” With Only We Know, we really wanted capture the raw emotion, focussing on betrayal, frustration etc from the perspective of someone who’s been taken advantage of by someone they once trusted. Quite a close to home song, we wanted to focus on a situation of someone taking something that’s not theirs and passing it off as their own. To make matters worse, they flaunt it without facing any consequences. Musically, the song mirrors the journey with its dynamic structure and emotional intensity. It opens with a hard-hitting intro that sets the tone, followed by a controlled but tense first verse, where the simmering frustration is kept in check. We wanted The chorus to really kick in, with raw passion and a catchy anthemic hook. The second verse explodes with aggression, featuring powerful screams and bouncy, hard-hitting riffs that channel the raw anger and resolve of the victim. A more composed bridge follows, reflecting the calculated reality of the tables turning, building anticipation for the final moments.
