Ahead of PinkPantheress’ debut Glastonbury performance tomorrow night, the anti-pop star has teamed up with junglist Nia Archives for “Illegal (Nia Archives Remix).” Originally featured on PinkPantheress’ mixtape Fancy That, the track is flipped with her delicate vocals layered over Nia Archives’ high-tempo breakbeats and basslines, injecting it with a raw, club-ready energy that stays true to both artists’ musical roots.
The release of “Illegal (Nia Archives Remix)” follows last week’s release of one of PinkPantheress’ most highly requested unreleased tracks, “Close to you.” Later this year, PinkPantheress will perform across North America on her An Evening with PinkPantheress residency-style tour, bringing her new mixtape Fancy That to audiences in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and more for the first time. The North American dates are her first headlining Stateside shows since last year’s Capable of Love ‘24 tour and will follow her sold-out two-night residency at London’s O2 Academy Brixton in September.
