NEW YORK (September 8, 2025) – Global superstar Peso Pluma made history today as he was officially named the first-ever Mexican ambassador for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Live at Rockefeller Center by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). He will help kick off the Spring/Summer 2026 season alongside CFDA Chairman Thom Browne, designers Michael Kors and Anna Sui, and fellow ambassadors Anok Yai and Young Miko placing him at the center of a historic lineup of cultural trailblazers. This appointment marks a milestone moment, making Peso the face of NYFW and a symbol of Latin music and culture’s growing influence on the global fashion stage.
As ambassador, Peso Pluma will be featured in NYFW Live at Rockefeller Center, a groundbreaking initiative presented by Genesys that streams the American collections to the public from September 11–16, 2026. His presence places música Mexicana at the center of one of fashion’s most influential stages, highlighting his impact beyond music as a style leader and cultural trailblazer.
