IRVINE, Calif. – April 3, 2026 – Bandai Namco Group is powering up its partnership with Angels Baseball with the launch of PAC-MAN™ Chomp Stop, a brand new concession stand offering PAC-MAN themed treats located next to Level-Up Arcade by Bandai Namco™. Since 2022, the collaboration has brought fans at the stadium fun new ways to interact with video gaming’s biggest icon, adding what’s now a fan-favorite on-field PAC-MAN Race two seasons ago, and launching the free-to-play PAC-MAN themed arcade last year. The partnership has formed a natural union between Orange County-based Bandai Namco, a global entertainment company known for legendary classic and current video game franchises, and the beloved Los Angeles Angels, a mainstay for baseball fans in Southern California for more than 60 years. The newly launched PAC-MAN Chomp Stop creates a fun family-friendly corner in the ballpark, located at Angel Stadium’s Right Field Pavilion right next to Level-Up. Fans can play classic Bandai Namco arcade games for free, try their hand at popular Japanese Gashapon™ prize machines, take advantage of colorful PAC-MAN inspired photo-ops, and now indulge in tasty treats. The new concession stand offers PAC-MAN themed snacks, desserts and drinks and is the exclusive location in the park for Pineapple Dole Soft Serve, served in a collectible PAC-MAN helmet.
“Our Orange County neighbors at Bandai Namco have been incredible partners for the past five seasons, consistently providing multi-generational entertainment at Angel Stadium,” stated Angels Executive Vice President Dana Wells. “The debut of the PAC-MAN Chomp Stop further enhances the fan experience; this themed concession, located next to our free-to-play arcade, Level Up, offers guests of all ages a unique and engaging destination within the ballpark.”
“Our partnership with Angels Baseball has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s a thrill to launch yet another new exciting experience for fans this 2026 season,” said Karim Farghaly, SVP of Business Innovation and Licensing at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. “Complementing the Level Up arcade, the addition of PAC-MAN Chomp Stop allows us to continue making meaningful connections with our local community. We’re grateful to our hometown team for always welcoming Bandai Namco into the stadium and becoming part of the unforgettable memories long-time fans, including many of our staff, take away from watching this iconic MLB club.”
For the 2026 season, the crowd-favorite Live PAC-MAN Race returns, where fans are selected from the stands to come on the field, don an outfit to become a TURN-TO-BLUE Ghost, and try to outrace PAC-MAN. The races have also embraced the Angels’ beloved Rally Monkey, bringing him into the madcap races for an exciting new twist.
