Growing up in a musical family, Marte took her first steps into the music world at an early age. After studying at the Grieg Academy in Bergen, she played a key role in several acclaimed bands and projects. She is perhaps best known for her time in Highasakite, where she contributed to the band’s breakthrough both nationally and internationally. With Highasakite, she won multiple Spellemann Awards and performed on prestigious stages worldwide.

In recent years, Marte has focused on her own projects, showcasing impressive creative range. Her solo album Free (2023) received glowing reviews for its cinematic sound and bold production. Her music blends elements of jazz, pop, electronica, and modern classical music, making her a distinctive voice in Norwegian music.

Alongside her solo work, Marte frequently collaborates with other renowned artists and is also a member of the jazz-rock band Eberson, where she plays alongside her father, legendary guitarist Jon Eberson. This project highlights her ability to unite generations through music that is both playful and experimental. Marte Eberson is known for her dynamic and expressive live performances.
