LOS ANGELES, CA – April 30, 2026 – Maestro Media and Supercell today announced two major expansions of the Clash universe into tabletop gaming. Clash Royale will be making its tabletop debut with Clash Royale: The Grand Arena, with a Kickstarter beginning in September 2026.
Additionally, Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid will launch at select retailers, including Amazon, Walmart Canada, and Target, beginning in July.
“Clash Royale: The Grand Arena represents the next step in expanding the CLASH! franchise alongside our partners at Supercell,” said Javon Frazier, CEO and Founder of Maestro Media. “Together with our new retail availability for Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid, we’re building a connected tabletop ecosystem that brings the strategy, competition, and energy of the CLASH! franchise to life in a way that keeps players engaged far beyond the screen and around the table for years to come.”
“We’ve always been passionate about creating memorable experiences for our Clash Royale players, and we’re thrilled to give fans a new way to engage with Clash Royale: The Grand
Arena,” said Andrea Fasulo, Head of Global Licensing at Supercell. “With this new retail availability for Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid, we can’t wait to give fans and new players alike a chance to discover the CLASH! Franchise on shelves at their favorite stores.”
Introducing Clash Royale: The Grand Arena
Clash Royale: The Grand Arena reimagines the fast-paced action of the mobile game as a turn-based tabletop experience for 2-4 players. Players build decks, manage Elixir, and battle across lane-based arenas where every decision shapes the outcome of battle. Each game is played across multiple battles, where players earn crowns by destroying towers and securing victories – the player with the most crowns wins.
“One of the biggest challenges was turning a real-time game into something turn-based without losing its energy,” said David Gordon, Game Designer. “By focusing on lanes, counter play, and quick turns, we created a system where players feel that same exciting back-and-forth momentum.”
Designed for both longtime fans and newcomers, the game blends accessibility with strategic depth through evolving decks and tactical decision-making and captures the energy of real-time competition while introducing deeper strategic control.
Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid Retail Expansion
Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid will make its retail debut in June 2026. The game will be available on Amazon, with a rollout at 300 Target locations across the US , as well as in Walmart Canada stores, throughout the summer. Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid, which was backed on Kickstarter in 2025 by more than 2,000 fans, brings the thrill of the mobile game to the tabletop, allowing players to build bases, gather resources, and engage in battles in a tactical format.
