JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM Review

Journey to Bethlehem is a film by director Adam Anders starring Fiona Palomo, Milo Manheim, and Antonio Banderas. In the greatest story ever told the Christmas story of the birth of Jesus. It is a new musical that follows Mary and Joseph on their journey to Bethlehem and the story of the birth of the King. A young woman Mary is told in a dream she will deliver the new KIng and his name will be Jesus. Just as she is betrothed to Joseph she must convince him of this divine miracle that is about to happen to them both.

As the Three Wise Men arrive to see the King and let him know of the birth of the new King. He starts to have nightmares and sends his sin to find Mary and stop the birth. Joseph must find it in his heart to believe Mary when he too is given a dream showing him what he must do. Setting him off to find Mary and together they will bring the baby into this world. Just not without some drama and danger.

A great modern version of the greatest story ever told. A must-watch Christmas movie for the whole family filled with songs and an amazing story. As someone who is not a fan of musicals, I did enjoy this one as the songs were mixed in very well, and the use of timeless classic Christmas songs. Made for a great touch and my family enjoyed singing with the film. I give this one an 8 out of 10 take and place in my family Christmas must-watch films.
