Interview:
What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?
A lot of times my creative processes originate from a place of wanting to be heard, and to be understood. I try to communicate what I’m experiencing, what I’ve experienced, and what I’ve perceived in my time in the world.
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
I listened to a lot of grunge and 70s and 80s rock. I liked 90s alternative and often jammed to Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Nirvana, or Alice in Chains.
Is there someone you looked up as a hero?
I’ve always looked up to my brother, he’s a super nice guy and really mature in the decisions he makes.
If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?
I’d be doing my same day job, as an Art Director for a music label.
What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?
Don’t worry that what you have to say isn’t important. Just create, and create, and try to never lose the joy in just writing music. It’s a special feeling and completely irreplaceable.
