Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?

I was always inspired with music that had a message especially in the 60’s, 70’s era.  So I used that as inspiration to write my own music with a message in that same type of style.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

60’S 70’S music

Is there someone you looked up to as a hero?

My Dad

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing today?

I was an IT Executive and wrote songs on the side.  I am now retired so I  now have time to spend more time writing and producing songs

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create music?

Do it because you love music and do not have any monetary expectations.  If it happens it happens but do not plan on it.

What can you tell us about your latest single ‘You Gotta Know’?

This was a song that I co-wrote with Anais Preller who also sings the lead vocals , she is a graduate student of the Berkley School of Music.   I came up with a framework for a song including the Melody line and the Hook You Gotta Know and I told her here is a song about asking the world why things are the way they are and how can we change it.  She took it an ran with it We then had it Orchestrated by Matt Oestreicher who is the DIRECTOR OF Music at the Apollo Theatre in NYC and produced it with our award winning producer Vic Steffens at Horizon Studio in west Haven using our East Coast Wrecking Crew band and our Gospel background group of Kevin Monroe and Devotion
