Interview with Bonnie

Today, we sat down with Bonnie to talk music inspiration, music she grew up with and much more! Be sure to check out her latest song below after the interview!

Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?

BONNIE: Inspiration comes from different parts – people, adventure, books, media. There are so many stories, feelings and topics around. We just got to keep eyes and ears open as it flies by.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

BONNIE: As a band, and as a matter of fact we got different ages, we listened to a huge range of sound. From stax-records like Otis Redding to rockbands like Deep Purple or King Crimson, later Madonna or Cher, songwriters like John Hiatt or Ryan Adams, bands like 3 doors down or Train, but also instrumental music like Stanley Clark or Billy Cobham.

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

BONNIE: There are many icons around – I guess one of the greatest is Tina Turner – as an artist and woman.

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

BONNIE: Hard to say – probably being bored?

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?

BONNIE: Do your thing. Keep ears and eyes open – respect advices but: do your thing.
