Interview:
What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your surroundings?
The drive to make music comes from deep within, it’s an inner force we can’t ignore. When it comes to writing lyrics and songs, we draw a lot from our surroundings, but even more from the changes we go through in life. Every experience: the highs, the lows, the growth adds a layer of depth and wisdom to what we create. Sometimes, it even feels like the songs themselves become teachers, revealing things we didn’t fully understand until they were written. Music is not just our outlet : it’s a mirror, a guide, and a way of making sense of the world around and within us.
What type of music did you listen to growing up?
I grew up with gospel and spirituals and listened to idols like Whitney Houston, Mahalia Jackson, Alicia Keys etc.. Our guitarist and co-songwriter listened to a lot of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and more rock oriented music.
Is there someone you looked up to as a hero?
The ones mentioned, I guess..!
If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing today?
Something creative
What can you tell us about your upcoming new album ‘II’?
This album marks the second chapter in a powerful trilogy, where we’ve fully stepped into our unique sound; a fusion we call “soulrock”. It’s more than just music; it’s a full-length, immersive journey through themes of karma, self-development, and transformation. Every track is crafted with intention; nothing is left to chance. This is the result of blood, sweat, and tears, poured into every note, lyric, and transition. From the first sound to the final echo, the album reflects growth, challenge, and the raw beauty of change. As a special touch, the vinyl edition includes a custom cartoon, bringing the story and energy of the music to life in a visual form.
What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create music?
I guess the most important advice I can give is to trust your own style, identity and trust your gut feeling!
